Beware of Commercially Sold Agave Nectar
Most commercial Agave Nectar is actually highly processed with added corn syrups and cane sugar syrup. Most brands are typically heated at temperatures above the critical level- 118º. This destroys the inulin, which increases its glycemic index. Our Pristine Agave is processed at around 110 º F. It is free of added syrups, fillers, pesticides, surfactants, and other harmful additives typically found in commercial brands.

Important Note About Sweeteners
Although natural state Agave Nectar provides many wonderful benefits for the body, it is still a sugar. Too much sugar, even natural sugar can produce adverse effects.  It is recommended to use sparingly.  A little goes a long way.

Is Agave Really Safe?
There is a lot of controversy brewing lately about whether or not Agave falls into the same category as other junk sugars.
